MIGS Fellowship Rotation
MIGS Fellowship Block Schedule
The fellow is paired with two gynecologic surgeons per block, each lasting four months. This arrangement allows the fellows to operate two-to-four days a week, with clinic time ranging from one to two days.
The fellow independently assesses patients in a gynecologic continuity clinic, focusing on various gynecologic conditions such as pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, and pelvic masses. Clinic patients include both preoperative and post-operative visits. The fellow can book surgical cases with the assigned block attendings, ensuring continuity of care and enabling the fellow to follow patient care from start to finish.
Protected research time is provided in the form of a four-week block per year, as well as one-to-two days per month, depending on clinical duties.
